Detroit, Michigan – Today, in conjunction with the USL Championship, Detroit City FC has announced its schedule for the 2025 season. Le Rouge is set to begin play on March 8 on the road to Miami FC at FIU Pitbull Stadium. The 2025 home opener for Le Rouge is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 when Detroit City FC welcomes Birmingham Legion FC to Keyworth Stadium. Season tickets for the 2025 season can be purchased here, beginning at $205.
The club’s schedule for the 2025 USL Jëigermeister Cup, which pits USL Championship clubs against clubs from USL League One in the third division of professional soccer in the United States, was also announced today. Le Rogue has been placed into Group 4 in the Jëigermeiser Cup alongside Hartford Athletic, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Rhode Island FC, Westchester SC (USL League 1), and Portland Hearts of Pine (USL League 1).
The 2025 season will be Detroit City FC’s fourth in the USL Championship, with Le Rouge qualifying for the playoffs in its first three seasons in the league. Last year was the club’s most successful season since joining the league ahead of 2022, with Detroit City FC earning a home playoff match for the first time after securing a third-place finish in the Eastern Conference.
