Detroit City FC kicked off their first-ever Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Run with a “Home” match played at Stevenson High School in Metro Detroit. Le Rouge would fall to the visiting RWB Adria from the Chicago area after being bested in a penalty kick shootout as 120 minutes was not enough to separate the two sides.

Detroit City FC kicked off their third regular season in club history in good form, defeating the Cincinnati Saints in front of a then-record regular season crowd of 2,147 at Cass Tech High School.

Detroit City FC would once again win in front of the home supporters at Cass Tech High School, scoring early and often with the opening two goals from Le Rouge coming in the 22nd and 24th minutes.

Another stout defensive performance, another three points for Le Rouge! Detroit City FC scored the winner via a penalty kick, this was the first sold-out match in club history with 3,112 on hand.

The goals for Detroit City FC were scored by Will Mellors-Blair (2), Zach Meyers (4), and Michael Lamb.
Le Rouge’s first match on the road in 2014 was nothing short of entertaining. Detroit City FC was up 2-0 after just 15′ but saw their lead evaporate with a quick-fire double from Cincinnati with goals in the second half. Then, playing the role of hero, Micheal Lamb scored the match-winner off of a corner in stoppage time to bring all three points home to Detroit.

Le Rouge dropped points for the first time in 2014, on the road to the Indiana Fire in a match that saw four-goals in the first half, two for each side. This 2-2 scoreline would hold throughout the second half, ensuring shared points.

Le Rouge was on the hunt for revenge against the Erie Admirals, the team that ended their 2013 playoff run, but would have to settle for a 2-2 draw after an 89th-minute equalizer from the visitors.

Detroit City FC picked up their most convincing away win of the season, traveling home from Cleveland with all three points thanks to an impressive goal-scoring display.

Detroit City FC would come out and exact immediate revenge against the Indiana Fire, dominating the match from start to finish spearheaded by two wonderful goals from Jeff Adkins.

In an Independence Day match that kicked off in Dearborn at 10:00 PM, Le Rouge fell by 2-1 to the Michigan Stars in a crazy match that had everything.

Similarly to the last time they lost, Detroit City FC bounced back with a dominating win, this time over the Cincinnati Saints with Jeff Adkins scoring the opening goal in the ninth minute of play.

A tough loss on the road to FC Buffalo was brightened by the fact that Le Rouge was able to claim its second consecutive Rust Belt Derby title, an honor given to the team with the highest point total in head-to-head matches between AFC Cleveland, FC Buffalo, and Detroit City FC.

The goals for Detroit City FC were scored by Latif Alashe (2), Shawn Claud-Lawson (3), and TJ Van Slooten (2).
An inspired second half from Detroit City FC was enough to overcome a 1-0 deficit after the visitors scored in the first half. Their lead would remain until Latif Alashe’s equalizer in the 56th minute. This win set up a must-win match in Lansing to secure a spot in the playoffs.

In a match billed to be a must-win for Le Rouge to secure a playoff spot, they would have to settle for a draw at DeMartin Stadium on the campus of Michigan State University, meaning no playoff run for Le Rouge in 2014.
