USL W-League
Being a soccer club for everyone has always been a part of the Detroit City FC vision since 2012! We strive to do this in many different ways, including presenting a successful women’s team, equitable to our men’s side. We see joining the USL-W League as a natural step toward achieving this vision and something our supporters can be proud to get behind.
PASL
In our hopes to expand our footprint in women’s soccer, we were very excited to start hosting our first Premier Arena Soccer League! With sell-out crowds at each home match and lots of dominating wins, our PASL matches were something unlike any other women’s soccer event in the city of Detroit. We look forward to our PASL home matches returning next year.

Alternative for Girls
June 23 was the club’s annual charity match in support of City’s 2017 charity partner, Alternatives For Girls. Players donned special charity kits for the match in support of AFG and auctioned them off following the game – with all proceeds going to the charity.
Impact
The Impact League, a new recreational soccer league for women 18+, is launching in Detroit with a unique focus on social impact. Each team in the league is required to design a Purpose Project. The SDGs are a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030, all people will enjoy peace and prosperity.

Ally x DPscd indoor league
In 2021, Ally and Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) launched a new DPSCD Indoor Soccer League for DPSCD youth. Following a tumultuous year where many extra-curricular activities had to be canceled, DPSCD is recognizing soccer as an official, funded sport– and Ally is helping to make the sport accessible.
Ally Girls Clinics
The soccer skills clinic is free and includes three tickets to the night’s match – plus a chance to meet Detroit City FC women’s team players! Snap a few photos and get some autographs from the very same players who are taking the pitch that evening!
Black star
A new program was developed to help accelerate the growth of soccer in Black American communities and to increase access and opportunity in the sport at the grassroots level, on and off the field.
