We are grassroots, we are supporter-driven; the community around Detroit City FC is Detroit City FC. We pledge to foster the bonds of support as we grow. We pledge never to take the support of our club for granted, and we expect our players and staff to live up to the expectations of our supporters: to comport themselves with respect, to wear the crest with pride, to compete with passion, and above all, to win trophies.
Forever For Our Community
Our club is a meaningful aspect of our supporters’ lives, and we take the stewardship of that privilege seriously. Every season, a chapter is written: unforgettable moments become shared experiences, new connections are made, and existing ones strengthened. We are proud that over the years, DCFC connections have sparked the formation of teams, friendships, businesses, marriages, and much more.

Throughout history Detroit artists have responded to challenges with creativity, innovation, beauty, and passion that has changed the world. Humbly, we strive to follow that example. Soccer is art, it stirs the soul, drives passion, and most importantly is fun. We pledge to connect with our creative community and build an unmistakable Detroit soccer culture. It all starts on matchday, where Detroit City FC games will be the most surprising, dynamic, and unforgettable experiences in sports.
Detroit City Above All
We strive to be the forever soccer club of our beloved hometown. Being the cultural and economic center of the region, our city has gained international recognition. However, it has also been subjected to generations of systemic neglect, negativity, and disinvestment. In light of this, our club will serve as a vehicle for investment and thoughtful engagement to support the people and organizations working to build a more equitable city.
Consequently, all the actions, decisions, and contributions of our club will prioritize the city of Detroit, with a focus on amplifying and supporting the community’s best interests. We commit to using our platforms to uplift Black-owned Detroit businesses and also honor pre-game captains at every match who represent the best of our community.
