Detroit City FC today announced new partnerships and fan experience enhancements to Keyworth Stadium for the 2020 season. Included in the updates will be upgrades to the suites, a revamped VIP section featuring a whiskey bar, and a series of party decks in the east grandstand.
Strategic Staffing Solution Suites
Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) will be the presenting sponsor of the suites at Keyworth Stadium, which were installed prior to the 2019 season. The S3 Suites at Keyworth Stadium, situated at the north end of the stadium and made out of repurposed shipping containers, accommodate up to 16 people each and will now feature heaters to account for the early start to the new professional season.
The Suites were introduced at the start of the 2019 season and have proven to be a popular addition to the DCFC matchday experience. Strategic Staffing Solutions has been a long-time supporter of DCFC and is the first-ever sponsor of the suites.
“S3 is very pleased to support our partnership with DCFC,” said S3 CEO Cynthia Pasky. “We’ve supported them from the start, and are proud of the enormous progress the team has made over just a short period of time. We wish them all the best in this new season. Go Le Rouge!”
Tullamore DEW VIP Section
DCFC is partnering with Tullamore D.E.W. for the 2020 season to revamp its on field VIP seating option. The new Tullamore D.E.W. VIP section at Keyworth Stadium provides premium on-field seating just a few feet from the action on the pitch.
With Tullamore D.E.W. being the second largest selling brand of Irish whiskey globally, the VIP section – situated at the south end of the staum – will now feature a whiskey and scotch bar for fans to enjoy during matches staffed by specialized bartenders.
Tullamore D.E.W. VIP section tickets are $50 per match, with each ticket including two drink vouchers and one food voucher, to be used at the signature food trucks known to grace DCFC games.
Stroh’s Party Decks
A brand new way to experience Detroit City FC matches in 2020, the Stroh’s Party Decks will be located in the southeast grandstands and will offer a unique vantage point of the game, as well as an ideal way for friends to gather during matches. The season will start with four raised platform decks, with plans to expand to eight decks shortly thereafter.
Each private deck will include premium seating for eight to ten guests. Decks are available to rent for $200 per match and include a complimentary bucket of beverages.
Stroh’s is also the presenting sponsor of DCFC’s television broadcasts on TV 20 for men’s and women’s 2020 seasons.
“We’re excited to work with great partners to continue to offer new and fun experiences at Keyworth Stadium,” said Sean Mann, DCFC Co-Owner. “We’re committed to creating the most memorable and exciting experience in Detroit professionals sports, while also being the most affordable.”
The new experiences at Keyworth Stadium add to an already exciting season for Detroit City FC, who will begin its first men’s professional season on Friday, February 28 in Los Angeles. The club’s 2020 NISA debut kicks off at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET and the club will be hosting a watch party at the Detroit City Clubhouse. Details are here.
The 2020 season also marks the club’s first-ever women’s season. Details on the women’s schedule will be released in the coming days.
